A few years ago, I had a profitable Adobe Stock account that was making me $100/day through user downloads. The account got taken down for some reason and while I’ve tried to reinstate it, it just became easier to do a few things differently. One is that I’m not able to upload text effects .psdt and .ait files through Adobe Stock. You have to receive an invitation from Adobe in order to be eligible. How do you go about getting an invitation? There’s really not that much written about the process other than this and this.
I want to be approved for this because it’s a premium product I download from the Adobe stock website myself – all the time. The goal is to get someone’s attention. So, here goes. I suppose we’re just going to start creating and at some point someone will take notice.
To the right is a .psdt file showing how we created a retro text effect. To use it, you download it from the store, access it through the downloads section of your account. Then, unzip the file and find the .psdt file. If you have never seen one, it’s really just a .psd but, it’s lighter in terms of file size, and it contains editable smart objects that you can modify for your reuse.
You can use these to create banners, social media graphics, video thumbnails – really anything you can imagine. The one caveat is that they are typically sized a specific width and height and if you go outside of that, you’re going to have to modify the template itself which for beginners can be a little inttimidating.
