What does a brand identity project include?
A full brand identity project includes a logo suite (primary, secondary, and icon marks in all file formats), brand color system with hex/RGB/CMYK/Pantone references, typography system, brand voice and messaging framework, brand guidelines document, and a business stationery suite. Scope varies by package — we’ll outline every deliverable in your proposal before work begins.
How is branding different from a logo design?
A logo is one element of a brand. Branding is the complete visual and verbal system — the logo, the colors, the typography, the tone of voice, the messaging framework, and the rules that govern how all of it comes together. A logo without a brand system is just a mark. A brand system is a business asset.
How long does a brand identity project take?
Most brand identity projects take 3–6 weeks from kickoff to final delivery. Rush timelines are available. Complex projects involving naming, trademark screening, and multi-channel rollout may take 6–10 weeks.
Do I own all the files when the project is done?
Yes. Upon final payment you receive full ownership of every file — source files in AI and EPS, exports in SVG, PNG, and PDF, and all brand documentation. Nothing is withheld or licensed back to you.
Can you rebrand an existing business without losing brand recognition?
Yes — and we do it carefully. The goal of a rebrand is not to erase what’s working, it’s to modernize, clarify, and strengthen what already exists. We audit what has equity in your current brand before recommending any changes.

Do you handle trademark filing?
We perform preliminary trademark screening as part of the naming process. For formal trademark registration we recommend engaging an IP attorney — we’re happy to refer you to one.

Brand identity projects start at $2,500 for a focused logo and color/typography system. Full brand strategy engagements including naming, positioning, and comprehensive guidelines start at $5,000.

What types of graphic design do you produce?
Print collateral (brochures, flyers, sell sheets, catalogs, menus), packaging design and dielines, pitch decks and investor presentations, digital ad sets (Google Display, Meta, LinkedIn), trade show graphics, social media templates, infographics, and branded HTML email templates.
What file formats do I receive?
Print files are delivered as print-ready PDFs at 300dpi with bleed and crop marks, along with source files in AI or PSD. Digital assets are delivered as PNG, JPG, SVG, and sized for each intended platform. You always get everything you need for both print and digital use.
Do you match existing brand guidelines?
Absolutely. If you have brand guidelines, we work within them precisely. If you don’t — that’s a separate conversation about whether you need them before we design anything.
Can you handle rush turnarounds?
Yes. Rush turnarounds are available for most collateral projects. Contact us with your hard deadline and we’ll confirm availability and any rush pricing before committing.
Do you manage print production or just design the files?
Both. We design and deliver print-ready files, and we can also manage full print production through our vendor network and coordinate delivery directly to you or your event location. We also design motion graphics. Those files can be delivered in several formats but the most common are .mov and mp4
What’s the minimum project size for graphic design?
Graphic design projects start at $500 for single-piece collateral. Larger suites and ongoing retainer arrangements are available.
What platforms do you build on?
We primarily build on WordPress with Elementor Pro — the most flexible and widely supported website platform available. We also build on WooCommerce for e-commerce, Shopify for standalone stores, and handle custom integrations for CRMs, booking systems, and marketing automation tools.
How long does a website project take?
Most website projects take 6–12 weeks from kickoff to launch depending on scope and the number of pages. E-commerce sites typically take 8–14 weeks. We’ll give you a specific timeline in your proposal.
Will my site be mobile-friendly and responsive?
Every site we build is designed and tested mobile-first across all major devices and screen sizes — desktop, tablet, and mobile. Responsive design is not optional, it’s baseline.
Do you build on existing WordPress sites or only new builds?
Both. We handle full redesigns and rebuilds of existing WordPress sites as well as new builds from scratch. We also do targeted optimization work on sites that don’t need a full rebuild.
Do you provide ongoing maintenance after launch?
Yes. We offer monthly maintenance retainers that include plugin updates, security monitoring, daily backups, uptime monitoring, and priority support. We also provide a training session at launch so your team can manage day-to-day content updates independently.
Is SEO included in the website build?
On-page SEO is included in every build — meta titles, meta descriptions, schema markup, proper heading hierarchy, image alt text, XML sitemap, and page speed optimization. Ongoing SEO strategy and content optimization is a separate service.
What does a website project start at?
Website design and development starts at $3,500 for a focused informational site. E-commerce builds start at $5,000. Enterprise builds with custom functionality are quoted individually.
Do you host websites?
We don’t provide hosting directly but we manage the hosting setup on your behalf and recommend providers based on your site’s requirements. We work with WP Engine, SiteGround, Kinsta, BlueHost, Hostinger and Cloudflare depending on website performance needs.
What kind of photography do you provide?
Brand photography direction, product photography for e-commerce and editorial use, event photography direction, and lifestyle photography for marketing campaigns. We also handle video production for brand films, product reveals, testimonials, and social reels.
Do you shoot on location or in a studio?
Both. We work on location for lifestyle, architectural, and event work. Studio setups are arranged for product photography and brand headshots. For large-scale productions we work with a vetted crew.
What is brand photography direction?
Brand photography direction means we develop the creative brief, shot list, styling direction, and mood board before the shoot — and art direct on the day to make sure every image aligns with your brand’s visual language. You end up with a cohesive library of images, not a random collection of photos.
How do you handle content strategy?
We start with your business goals and work backward — identifying what content needs to exist, in what format, on what platform, and at what frequency. Every piece of content has a commercial purpose before we create it.
Can you produce content for YouTube?
Yes. We handle YouTube channel strategy, video direction, thumbnail design, and content calendar development. We also produce tutorial and educational content — Ashley Bailey Designs’ own YouTube channel is an example of what we build.
What formats do you deliver content in?
All file formats appropriate for the intended use — high-resolution images for print and web, platform-optimized versions for social, video in MP4 at the required resolution and aspect ratio, and blog content in draft form ready to publish.

Which social media platforms do you manage?
Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, and X/Twitter. We recommend focusing on the 2–3 platforms where your audience is most active rather than spreading thin across all of them.
What is Social SEO and why does it matter?
Social SEO is the practice of optimizing social media content — captions, hashtags, profile text, and video descriptions — to rank in platform search results. Younger audiences increasingly use Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube as search engines. If your content isn’t optimized for social media platform search, it’s invisible to a large segment of your potential customers.
How many posts per week do you publish?
Posting frequency depends on your strategy and retainer tier — typically 2-4 posts per week across platforms. We always prioritize quality over volume. A smaller number of well-crafted, strategically timed posts will outperform a flood of generic content every time. When you post too often, your content can compete with itself.
Can I approve content before it goes live?
Yes. All content goes through an approval workflow before publishing. You review and approve the content calendar weekly or monthly depending on your preference. Nothing goes live without your sign-off.
Do you handle paid social advertising?
Yes. Paid social campaign management is available as an add-on or included in higher-tier retainers. We manage Meta Ads, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and TikTok Ads. Ad spend is billed separately and goes directly to the platforms.
What does a social media retainer start at?
Social media management retainers start at $1,500 per month. This includes strategy, content calendar, post design, scheduling, and monthly reporting. Community management and paid advertising are available as add-ons.
How long before SEO produces results?
Most clients see meaningful ranking movement within 60–90 days of implementation. Significant organic traffic growth typically takes 4–6 months. SEO is a compounding investment — the results build on themselves over time and don’t disappear the moment you stop paying for ads which is one of the most meaningful benefits of SEO.
Do you guarantee first-page Google rankings?
No. Any agency that guarantees specific rankings is either lying or using tactics that will eventually trigger a penalty. Google’s algorithm has over 200 ranking factors. What is the difference between on-page and off-page SEO?
On-page SEO covers everything on your website — meta titles, descriptions, content quality, heading structure, page speed, schema markup, and internal linking. Off-page SEO covers everything outside your site — primarily backlinks from other websites, brand mentions, and local citations. Both matter. We handle on-site and off-site SEO and we use what is called white hat tactics. No tricks, just results.
What is local SEO and do I need it?
Local SEO focuses on ranking for searches in your geographic service area — appearing in Google Maps, the local pack, and location-specific search results. If you serve customers in a specific area (Augusta, Charlotte, a specific metro), local SEO is essential. We optimize your Google Business Profile, build local citations, and create geo-targeted content.
What is Social SEO — different from regular SEO?
Social SEO optimizes your content specifically for search within platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest. People search inside these platforms the same way they search Google — and content that isn’t optimized for those searches is invisible. We write captions, titles, and descriptions with platform-specific keyword targeting built in.
How is your copywriting different from AI-generated content?
AI-generated content is fast, cheap and untrained. There is a reason AI companies hire “trainers” to produce quality content. AI-generated content is also generic, brand-agnostic, and optimized for pattern-matching rather than persuasion. Our copywriting is built on your brand voice, your customer’s specific language, and a conversion strategy tailored to your business. We use AI tools as part of our workflow — but every piece of copy is reviewed, refined, and written to sound like your brand, not a language model.
Do you write copy for industries you haven’t worked in before?
Yes. Our research process is thorough — we study your market, your competitors, your customer reviews, and your existing content before writing a single word. We’ve produced copy for AEC, FinTech, legal, medical, beauty, hospitality, government contractors, and sporting goods, often starting with no prior category knowledge.

What does a digital marketing retainer include?
Strategy and planning, Google Ads and/or paid social management, email marketing setup and campaign management, analytics configuration (GA4 and Looker Studio dashboards), conversion rate optimization, and monthly performance reporting. Specific inclusions depend on your tier and goals — we scope every retainer individually.
Is ad spend included in your retainer fee?
No. Ad spend is billed directly to you through the ad platforms — Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, etc. Our retainer covers strategy, management, creative production, and reporting. We recommend a minimum ad spend of $1,000/month to generate enough data to optimize effectively.
How do you measure success?
Against the KPIs we agree on before we start — typically revenue, qualified leads, cost per acquisition, and return on ad spend. We build a Looker Studio dashboard before the first campaign launches so you can see performance in real time, not just in a monthly report.
Do you work with businesses that have never run digital ads before?
Yes — and often the starting-from-zero engagements produce the most dramatic results because there’s so much low-hanging fruit. We start with thorough audience and keyword research, build clean campaign structures, and scale what’s working once we have data.
What is GEO — Generative Engine Optimization?
GEO is an emerging practice of optimizing your content and brand presence to appear in AI-generated answers — Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT responses, Perplexity results, and similar tools. As AI answers replace traditional search results for certain queries, being cited by these systems becomes a meaningful source of online visibility. We build GEO into our content and SEO strategy.
Can we start with one channel and expand?
Absolutely. Many clients start with SEO or paid search and add channels as results build confidence and budget. We design every strategy to scale — so adding a new channel doesn’t require rebuilding what’s already in place.

Yes — the majority of our client work is remote. We serve businesses across the United States and internationally. We use Zoom, Slack, and project management tools to collaborate seamlessly regardless of location. Great work doesn’t require a shared zip code.

Every client engagement begins with a free 45-minute strategy session — a direct conversation about your goals, your challenges, and the fastest path to results. No sales pitch, no templated questionnaire. After that we send a clear, itemized proposal with deliverables, timeline, and investment.
Do you offer payment plans?
